"Drav, the mesenger will be here soon."" yes Mykae i know im hurrying" Sitting down at his well worn desk he begins to write a letter to his little sister Lily.

Dear Lily,
I hope this letter finds you well. It has been a long time since we last saw each other as children. How is mom and dad doing? I'm sure you've become a very beutiful woman by now and beating off suitors by the hundreds. The army gave me some leave time and i was hopeing to visit you if you can spare some time for a big brother for a few days.

Hearing a knock on the door Mykaelah answers it."Drav the messenger's here."" okay Mykae." gently blowing on the ink to dry, then sealing the letter with his family ring in wax blowing on it to dry it faster. Getting up from his chair grabbing a small pouch of gold and heads for the door. seeing the messenger there he hands the letter to him then the pouch."I'd like this delivered to Lily Deathsheart, you'll find her in Luna, the gold is for your troubles sir." Noding and smileing he heads off. Slowly closeing the door Draven looks over at Mykaelah smileing warmly at her. "All done Mykae." returning his smile as she goes into his arms they embrace each other loveingly.

Lily sat on the front porch of her home trying to read over her spellbooks while thinking about Shihan and their hunt together with the Duke.Setting her spellbook aside she stood up and moved to the edge of the porch and stared out across the Crystal Fens.

"Lily!!! Lily!!!,"she heard her younger brother call as he ran up to the house,"you...got....a letter...,"he said as he tried to get his breathing under control,"slow down Rolland...,"she said as she pushed him onto the seat then sat down beside him.

"You got a letter...I was in Luna and this messenger was asking the stablehand how to get to our house...so...I told him who I was and that I would deliver the letter to you myself...,"he said as he pulled it out and handed it to her.

Smiling softly she moved inside then froze as she saw the crest,"....Draven...,"she said softly as she ripped open the letter and started to:

Dear Lily,

"Whose it from Lily...is it Shihan..?,"Rolland asked as he moved up beside her,"no...its from our brother...Draven...,"she said as Rolland went wide eyed,"go fetch a messenger....perhaps the one who brought this letter and bring him here...,"she said as Rolland ran out the door,"THIS TIME TAKE A HORSE!!!,"she yelled to him.

Standing up again she moved to her desk and sat down,her hand moving to grab her pen quickly.

There is so much to tell you of course but first I will of momma and poppa...they died 12 years ago...momma died in childbirth and poppa followed after her a month later. When momma died he was left an empty shell so it leads me to believe he died of a broken heart,our baby brother Rolland is well and is very excited about your visit. I,myself have found a wonderful man whose name is Shihan...we both belong to a great guild. As for coming to visit I would love to have you come stay with us...I do hope nothing is wrong for your letter sounded rather distant...I will look for you in a few days.

Just as she sealed the letter with their family ring Rolland appeared with the very same messenger,"m'lady...your brother here tells me you have a messenge for me to deliver?,"he asked as she nodded and handed it to him,"please...take this...and this bag of gold,"sets a bag of gold coins into his hand,"return to my brother with this letter....,"she said as he nodded and smiled then walked out.

"Lily...think he will come?,"Rolland asked as she stepped up beside him and nodded,"if I know Draven he will...,"she said as they both watched the messenger ride off.

Stirring awake to a rooster, Draven sighs softly looking over at Mykae sleeping peacefully next to him.,"How did i get so lucky" he mutters to himself as he kissed her nose gently. Smiling softly he watched her stir slightly to rub her nose but continues to sleep peacefully.Giving a soft chuckle,"she always did hate that."he whispered softly as he slowly got out of bed,trying to keep from waking her, he quietly gets dressed then grabs his boots and head's for the living room to sit in his favorite chair to put them on. "Another boring day of patrol duty,"he mutters to himself,"Atleast the orcs have quieted down alot since that day a few years back."

With this Lord Adin taking charge of gaurding the city he wouldn't be needed much longer and likely to be re-asigned to other dutys elsewhere,"Hope its not to a warzone either in Mykae's condition."he mutters softly then jumps out of his chair at the knock on the door. Draven quickly goes to it before they can knock again,"who the hell can that be this early...,"he mutters while opening the door to see the messenger he enlisted to deliver that letter to Lily.

"My lord i was asked to deliver this to you" handing the letter to Draven smiling. seeing it was from his sister Lily he smiles back thanking him. He heads to his desk digging threw it to find the bag of gold he kept in it, pulling out a handful of coins to give to the man. Returning to the door,"thank you sir an this is for your troubles,"he said as he hands it to him smileing politely.

"Your welcome mylord,"smiling and nodding in return before heading off. Slowy closeing the door so he won't wake Mykae he heads for his favorate chair and tries to get comfortable.Taking a moment before opening it felt a sudden lump in his throat wondering if she even remembers him. Taking a deep breathe he opened the letter very slowly and carefully and began to read it.

After reading it over several times Draven relizes much has changed after such a long time as he looks over to the bedroom door where Mykae slept,"that would explain why they havent writtin in all these years." he mutters to himself,"I thought they forgot about me."he said as he gently rubbed his eyes fighting back the tears making sure to take a moment to pull himself together. "I have a little brother as well as a little sister,"he whispers softlty to himself smiling,"and she's got herself a guy," he said with a softl chuckle,"guess she hasn't scared them all off yet."

Hearing the door to the bedroom open he sees Mykae in his shirt rubbing the sleep from her eyes,"Drav, your gonna be late if you don't get going and report in." Looking at the clock on the wall relizing he'd have to run to make it he jumps up kissing Mykae gently on the lips then grabs his equipment and heads out the door,stuffing the letter in his pocket. Mykae seeing the letter gives him a curious look."tell you when i get back Mykae." he said as he smiled at her and shut the door.

Mykae nodded her head abit then rubbed her eyes again,"One of these days he is going to be in trouble for being late...,"she said as she yawned then moved into their bedroom to change the sheets and get the days laundry ready to be washed.

Hearing the horns sound she dropped the sheet and moved to the window,watching as the guards ran towards the front gate,"not again...,"she said as she grabbed a pair of her long pants and slipped them on,preparing to once again have to leave their home.

"Mykae...open the door its Ashley...,"she heard one of her husband's friends wife's call through the door,moving out of their bedroom she opened the door and dragged her inside,"what is going on out there...,"she asked as Ashley locked the door and turned to her friend.

"The orcs are back...not many but I saw Draven running towards the east tower...,"she said causing Mykae to quickly sit down,knowing that Draven only went to that tower when something was about to happen,"the east tower...are you sure?,"she asked as Ashley nodded,"let me get dressed then we will go see what is going on..,"she said as she stood up and moved into the bedroom.

Pushing off some of the junk that was on her chest she pushed open the lid and reached inside for her armor,"never thought I would need this again...,"she said as she stood up and began to strap it on.

"Mykae...you know if Draven sees you...,"Ashley said as she stood at the door,"not a word Ashley...I know what he will say but he also knows if there is trouble I will not hesitate to return to battle...,"she said as she sat down and slipped on her boots.

"Your with child Mykae...,"Ashley said as she looked out the window.

"Don't you think I know that....I also know my husband is out there..and I will be damned if I lose him now...,"she said as she picked up her sword and sheathed it then grabbed her cloak.

"Come on...you were once a warrior like I was...,"she said as Ashley sighed and nodded and pushed open her cloak,"I knew you couldn't resist a good fight..and someone has to keep you out of trouble...,"she said causing Mykae to grin and head out the door for the east tower.

“My brother is coming and I want you to meet him Shihan” said Lily as they sat in his billiards room on the second floor.

“Another brother?” was all he could respond. Why had she not told him of this person before? Perhaps it was a black sheep in the family or something. Keeping his ideas to him self he though a minute and then offered, “I would be glad to meet your brother is he younger or older Lily?”

“He is older and should be here in a few days” she replied.

He looked at her and was trying to put together the implications of their relationship along with the meeting of family. Well at least she told me he thought.

"Perhaps I will take him out for some drinks and find all the hidden little secrets." he jested.

Lily went pale at his words,"I do not have many secrets Shihan and I am not sure my brother would spill them...,"she said as she sipped her wine then looked down a moment.

"I thought he was dead...he's been in the service for so long...,"she said then looked up to Shihan again,"had I known he was alive I would have mentioned him sooner....,"she said softly then looked out the window watching the snow fall.

"He left when I was young but he and I were close....he was my protector...,"she said as she remebered all the bullies who used to pick on her as a child and how her brother would stand up for her.

"I am quite sure the two of you will get along fine...,"she said as she looked to him with a soft smile.
