The cat turned three times in one direction, then three times in the other shoving the blankets into a nice circle and snuggling up next to the sleeping man. Swishing her tail around she pulled it in tight, giving one of her paws a lick, as it still felt sore. Twitching her whiskers, she laughed inside herself realizing she was letting the cat instincts run away with her. Mewing softly she placed her weary head on the man's chest next to her and stared at Astrum's sleeping face. The black cat’s amber eyes slowly closed its sleek body falling into a silent slumber. It had been a long night; she was exhausted and to tired to even remove her cat like form. She laughed softly wondering what Astrum would do in the morn when he awoke to the cat at his side. He would probably not be surprised, she thought wryly.

Her last thoughts were of Gia, her sister…at least she had managed to see her safe with her fathers family. The cat fell asleep a gentle purr coming from it.
