Saidhe's pregnancy was a difficult one. She was nauseous everyday and her feet and back ached constantly. She could hardly move much less stand. Saidhe wonder if she would ever give birth!

As she laid back on the steps of Blackhard watching the soldiers drill below, she suddenly felt a agonizing pain in her abdomen. Saidhe cried out for help. The soldiers carried her upstairs to the royal homestead and laid her apon the bed.

"Tell Aerie to come post haste!" Talon yelled loudly.

Saidhe howled and clenched down on a pillowcase for comfort. Talon had done this to her and her face was flush with anger.

"You did this to me! You sorry lout!" she screamed in agony, cursing at Talon.

"Calm down my love, this will be over soon enough." Talon said in a relaxed calm tone.

"YOU CAN SAY THAT WHEN YOUR NOT ABOUT TO SQUEEZE SOMETHING THE SIZE OF A WATERMELON OUT OF SOMETHING THE SIZE OF A LEMON!" Saidhe howled in return.

At that very moment Aerie entered the room with a pitcher of water and some clothe. She knelt down beside Saidhe and looked closely, examining the situation.

"She is crowning and will give birth any moment." Aerie said soothingly.

"GET IT OUT OF ME!!!" Saidhe screamed at the top of her lungs.

"PUSH!" Aerie yelled to Saidhe. And so she did. Saidhe pushed down with all her might and before long a soft cry was heard... The first child was born. A beautiful baby boy. Aeried wrapped the infant in a clothe and handed him to Talon preparing for the next child.

"PUSH Damn it!" Aerie yelled again. Saidhe groaned and bore down, grasping Talon's hand even harder. He groaned softly but held firm, standing by her bedside. A few moments later another soft cry was heard and the second child was born. A tiny baby girl. Aerie bundled the little one in clothe and handed both of the children to Saidhe.

"What will you name them?" Aerie asked enthusiastically.

"The boy will be named Cyrus, after Cryus the Holy." Talon stated firmly and Saidhe nodded a exhuasted nod.

"And the girl?" replied Aerie?

"Desera.." Saidhe said in a rather exhausted voice, staring down at the little one.

Talon took the children from Saidhe and told her he would be but a moment. As he carried them out of the room, she sighed happily. It had been all worth it. The King took the twins downstairs to display them to the kingdom. The crowd applauded and cheered merrily at the site of the new heirs. Saidhe could hear the noise from the bedroom as she drifted off into a deep dreamstate...
