Lily sat outside on the stone steps of McKonovick Manor and sighed,something was stirring inside her and it was something she couldn't explain.

Ever since she had met with Shihan her mind had never left him,this was something that scared but yet at the same time caused her heart to flutter.

Reaching down she picked up her notepad and began to write to him..

Shihan,

I hope this letter finds you well...I wished to thank you for your invitation...I gladly accept and would love to see you again before then if that is alright with you.

Sealing the letter she looked to her brother and smirked,"Rolland if you run this letter to Lord Shihan you may take my mount...but don't run him to hard..he needs those legs to win the race..,"she said as he jumped up and grabbed the letter the bolted towards the stables,making her laugh even harder as she walked back inside to fix little Henry is afternoon snack.

The dice cup rattled as Shihan tossed his dice around. Come on DOUBLE FIVE’s he willed the small bone cubes. Tossing the dice onto the Backgammon board he got a 2 and a 5. Looking at the end of the game he was about to loose he moved one of his five pieces off the board and moved a four piece to the two spot. Grand Command Will Kaldhel had him now as all he needed was a role of at least a four and a three to take is remaining two pieces from the board and Shihan looked at the two pieces on his five spot and now the one piece on his 2 spot and knew the game was over.

Rattle, Rattle, Rattle.

Will dumped his cup and held out his hand. The four and five shown on the dice gave finality to Shihan’s night. Taking his Commander’s hand he congratulated him and then finished his class of wine. The Pub had quieted as the few people had left for the night. Will stood to leave and after a few quick farewells he departed for the evening also. Shihan was not tired though. He stepped out onto the icy ground outside the pub. The high mountain air and the snow on the ground made the air light and crisp but the temperature was chillier than he preferred. He shoved his hands into his pockets as he looked around and his hand touched the letter he had put there. I need to do something with that he thought. Thinking of what to do he pulled out his rune book and spoke the necessary words and appeared outside the Royal Court of Light meeting hall and offices.

He looked around in the evening light that radiated from the city of Luna. There it was again. The last couple of weeks he kept feeling like he was being watched from time to time. When ever he looked around he never found anyone and he had even tried to cast reveal on a hidden person once when he was sure he had seen movement but had only scared the heck out of a poor little rabbit. Being spied upon was also not completely out of the question but that usually was done on people who like the Duchess so that something could be found out and used against the person. The unfortunate problem with Shihan and getting spied upon was that he had skeletons but they were known by way to many people to be worth blackmail. But the strange thing about this feeling he had was that it happened not only at places like the RCL court where you might expect spies, but it also happened while he was shopping for wedding presents, delivering correspondence to the business representatives, heck even when he had been on what might have been considered a date. He smiled again as he felt the paper in his pocket. He had already entered the court house on the first floor and headed for the third floor offices.

Lily had written him again. He was already happy she had accepted to escort him to the wedding of the Duchess and her consort on Saturday the 29th. He had thought he should not have done it because he was with the groom’s party and was going to be busy but he had and she was nice enough to accept the invitation. She now was asking to meet him again before the weekend. He liked her but he also knew his own reputation with women and thought perhaps he should watch himself before he lead her on. Unlike most of the women whom he knew more personally, some very personal for only a few hours, he did not think he could bring himself to lead this one on. She was not his normal type either which made him uneasy. She was sweet and very good looking. Sweet in a female though tended to lead a guy into wanting to take care of the woman. He took the pen in had and thought what to say.

Miss Lily,

Thank you for your note. I must attend the Regency meeting tonight but if you can be out late we might be able to meet after the meeting. The messenger will wait your response and return to me.

Lily looked to the messenger a moment then motioned for the cook and her little brother Rolland,"fix him something to eat and take care of his mount...,"she said as she walked inside and sat down at the table to read over the letter from Shihan.

Miss Lily,

Thank you for your note. I must attend the Regency meeting tonight but if you can be out late we might be able to meet after the meeting. The messenger will wait your response and return to me.

Sighing softly she folded the letter and placed it against her chest,"I wonder...,"she said then stood up and moved to find Lady Wynter who seemed abit paler than normal.

"M'lady are you well..?,"Lily asked as she moved to her side,"aye Lily..just abit under the weather it would seem...,"she said softly then wiped her face and looked to the young woman.

"Is there something on your mind Lily?,"Wynter asked as she turned and looked to her.

"Aye...I was wondering if I may have the night off....Shihan wishes to meet me again...,"she asked her eyes sparkling softly in the light from the candles lite around the room.

"Well William and I have a meeting with Lady Molly tonight but I don't see any harm in afterwards...we shouldn't be long...,"she said causing Lily to smile,"thank you m'lady.,"she said then turned and ran off to return a letter to Shihan.

Shihan,

Lady Wynter has granted me the night off after she and Lord William return from their meeting...I will be arriving in Luna as soon as that is over with...I am also sending my locket...wear it...it will keep you safe from harm...

Sealing the letter she handed it to the messenger,"return this to Shihan...,"she said then removed her locket from neck and placed it in her hand,"as well as this...,"she said as he nodded his head and mounted his steed then turned and headed back to Luna.
