The Royal Court of Light meeting was full of its normal decorum this evening. Shihan thought that it was actually quieter then it had been in the last couple of weeks. Some old business was presented. A Tree Fellow report given to the court by the City of Umbra was passed to the court members. Then some information was brought forward that was unexpected at this time he thought. The Legion of Honor and the House of the Gauntlet officially formed together into an alliance. He knew it was expected but its announcement at this time was unexpected. The Grand Duchess then took the further step asking Royal Court members if they wanted to enter into the alliance.

The alliance itself while now official was not what took Shihan off guard. It was the open presentation while members of the Umbran government were in attendance. Obviously the Duchess was sending a message that the Royal Court of Light was tired of another governmental entity taking liberties on property considered to be RCL holdings.

After a light bit of after meeting banter with people in attendance, the Duchess and her party moved to the official residence and officially put the alliance to paper. With this alliance, Shihan hoped it would bring greater troop strength to help the preserve Royal Court of Light holdings and the ability to keep troops in the affected region. Unfortunately it also meant more field exercises.

His stomach grumbled loudly in protest.
