The following is a transcript from a treatise delivered to the City of Umbra. The work made its way around Umbra, circulating through from noble to farmer, tailor to butcher. Some copies were also shipped to far flung corners of the world. Special copies were delivered to Barl, Thrax and Isk.

========================
Unity, Strength, Faith...The Triad

None who have stood before us here today have stood long without the universal principals which bind a nation together in her own greatness. Unity through Strength. Strength through Faith.

Nations from afar balk at our fair city. Laugh cruelly and scowl at our very existance. The lands of men of "virtue" would label us all as corpse desecrating necromancers and have vowed that each and every one of us should be slaughtered. That only "our impure blood" can wash away the sins we have commited. In their eyes we are a blight. An insect that should be stepped on, and rubbed out.

I say we are a gift. A divine cure for the hypocrisy that foreign nations shower down on us like rain. We must let our Triad of blessings be our mark so that those around us can turn their eyes earth-bound...return to reality...and gaze upon the torch that we bare
For A Better Malas.

Unity...
It is the right and duty of all peoples to stand together in Unity. To join one another for their own betterment. A common understanding of their unified destiny as a nation. Such a terrible crime it is for foreign nations to impose on a peoples not of their own because they feel their code is more just...their code is "right". It is the responsiblity of us all...those of us brought together by geography, heritage and destiny...To solidify as one against the oncoming tide of hypocrisy. One man may fight a thousand battles and kill a thousand enemies. One may may carry a torch so bright and so just. But one man, may be killed. Only when we realize the inherent brotherhood inside of us all may we become A Rock, on which to build the future. For A Better Malas

Strength...
The wind and rain are wild, natural forces. Life giving and destructive at the same time. So too must we be like the elements. Capable of such blessings and boons, but equally capable to stand against onslaught and deliver the hammer of fate against the injustices we must suffer. Strength is a blessing, not one doled out casually. It must be earned and specially temepered with the fortitude and sense to use it wisely. For if we become cavalier with our strength, so too may we invite weakness. A Strong people who stand United. For A Better Malas

Faith...
Faith in our Unity. Faith in our Strength. Faith in our leaders. Faith in ourselves. The belief that what we are doing is right, that it is just. That it is indeed our destiny to return Umbra to her rightful place. To secure the traditional lands and peoples granted to us by heritage, geography and destiny. No man or woman can argue with the divine order. We must accept the burden of our journey. That we must be the ones to deliver the closed fist to those who cling to their own vanity and self-righteousness. Faith in our place. Secure in the knowledge that Destiny herself guides my hand....your hand....our hand. A people Strong in their Faith, United against repression. For A Better Malas

Signed Work of,
The Lord High Pontifex

Walking towards the bank of Umbra, Lucian noted the paper flapping in the wind.

Silently speaking the words to himself, a smile creeped across Lucians face. Taking out his small, black book, he copied down the main points of the note.

Still smiling, Lucian continued on his way through Umbra.
