She donned a shroud and grabbed the tome in haste...then grabbed the guilded chest opened it and made sure all she needed was inside. She then waited for the guards to start their shift change and left the palace. Summoning her mount she made her way for Ilshenar. All the while checking that she was not followed. Looking up she saw the blue and white marble. She made it and with some magical words was now at her destination.

Quietly she walked to the altar with the pillars and four candles. She heard steps behind her and turned. It was the man who requested the enchantment. With relief she went about setting up what she needed.
First the cauldron and atop it she place gold and gems. Carefully she placed more gems around it. When she finished she turned to the man in his dark robe and cloak.

"Are you ready?"
"Yes.", he answered.
"Good. Take this salve and apply it to your entire body. Make sure you remove all armor."

He took the salve from her and obliged. Next she handed him the ruby he provided with her the night before. Now it was cleansed of other enchantments and appeard dark.

"When you are done with the salve sit and hold the gem in both hands."

He nodded and she walked to the alter and kneeled in meditation to Ra. She was gathering her strength for the ritual, she had never cast this spell before. She heard rustling behind her and opened her eyes and then stood.

"Are you ready?"
"Yes, shall we start?" He asked.

With a nod she turned as he took a seat and began the first incantation.

O god of offerings, o Runner who is in his hall, great god,

May you let my soul come to me from wherever it may be; if [it] tarries may my soul be brought to me from wherever it may be.

May you find the eye of Horus standing like those who resemble Osiris, the dead lying down, the Osiris Ani, true of voice, true of voice [sic] in Heliopolis, the land of thousands of joinings.

He has seized for me my soul and [my] glorified spirit; my voice is true with him wherever he may be.

Guardian of heaven, watch over my soul; if [it] tarries may you let my soul see my body.

May you find the eye of Horus standing like those [who resemble Osiris].

O gods who pull the boat of the lord of millions of years, who bring what is above to the netherworld, who drive away Nut, who make souls approach the perfected bodies, your arms are filled with your rectitude, you grasp it with your fetters, you cast away the enemy.

The boat rejoices; the great god advances in peace.

Lo, may you let this soul of the Osiris Ani, true of voice, come forth before the gods, true of voice, under your loins, at the eastern horizon of heaven, to follow wherever it was yesterday in peace, in peace, to Amentet.

May it see its body; may it rest on its perfected body.

May it not be slain; may its body not be destroyed, for ever.

She let out a breath and glanced backword after she finished the first part of the spell. The gem he held started to glow. With a slight smile she turned back to the altar and dropped to her knees and out stretched her arms for the second part.

O One, bright as the moon-god Iah; O One, shining as Iah;

This Osiris Ani comes forth among these your multitudes outside, bringing himself back as a shining one. He has opened the netherworld.

Lo, the Osiris Osiris [sic] Ani comes forth by day, and does as he desires on earth among the living.

Taking another deep breath, she looked back again and noticed the gem was glowing brighter. She turned back again focusing on the las tpart of the spell. Moving her hands into a prayer position she begand the last incantation.

O great and powerful soul,

Behold me, I have come; I see you.

I cross into the netherworld; I see my father Osiris.

I drive away darkness; I am [his] beloved.

I have come; I see my father Osiris.

I sever the heart of Set when he acts against my father Osiris.

I have opened every way in heaven and in earth. I am the beloved son of my father Osiris.

I am a perfected body; I am a glorified spirit; I am prepared.

O all you gods and all you glorified spirits, I have made a way, the Osiris scribe Ani, true of voice.

She slowly stood and let her arms rest, then turned to the man.

"The gem should be gettign dim."

He looked at it and saw it was dark again and looked up at her.

"How do I activate its power?", he asked.
"Insert the gem into your brooch and it will transform you into your original form before your prior transformation."
With a nod, he put the gem in its place. "Do you see a difference."
She sat before him and carefully touched his face. "You are flesh. It appears it worked perfectly."

She smiled pleased with her work. As she watched him look at the gem.

"Remember, as long as the gem is equipped its works and people will see your original form." she told him.
"I understand. Now, can I feel pain, blood anything like that?" he asked.
"Yes, in the magical form you can feel pain, you can bleed even feel pleasure."

She watched him knowing that even though the enchanted item gave him an advantage there were also added weaknesses he may endure.

"I will be very careful with this item then."
"I would advise that. In this form if you are injured severly you can die easily."she explained.
"I choose my battles carefully and will more than like not use this if I fight."
"That would be wise."
He started to put his armor back on, "Is there anything else I should know."
"Not that I can think of but you know where to find me if you have any questions."
"Yes I do."
"I will take my leave then if there is nothing further."

He nodded to her and she magically transported herself back to the palace.
