The Moon hung low, it was past midnight and in a few hours the sun would be rising on the east side of the isle of Moonglow. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes he thought to himself “Is this what I wanted?” He got up and walked out of the White Tower and rode the streets as he often did on sleepless nights. He reached the eastern shore, standing next to the Telescope he looked across the water. He knew what he needed to do. Setting out for the bank he rode hard, once he got there, he removed a bottle of ink, a quill and 2 scrolls of parchment. Fong walks to a table in the bank; he unrolled one of the scrolls and began to write.

To Siaron Nuar
Greetings and Tidings to you. As you are well aware, there have been many problems concerning Moonglow. I wish to speak with you directly to work these problems out. I believe we can find a way to work all this out. I do ask that this is a closed meeting between You, Lord Sid, I and an unbiased party. I think we can all agree to travel alone for one evening, it seems the more people present creates more problems. Please send word with a suitable time and place so we can arrange this meeting. I ask that you only hear me out, and then make your decision. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely Lord Fong.

He rolled up the scroll, sealed it and handed it to a near by messenger. Find Siaron Nuar and deliver that to her and no one else. Fong tosses the messenger a bag of gold before he turned and ran out the door. Sitting there he unrolled the second scroll, dipped his quill and began to write once more.

To Lord Sid
Greetings and Tidings to you. I wish to speak to you about the problems facing Moonglow. These are troubled times ahead, but they don’t have to be. Things can be changed and we can work this all out. I only request a closed meeting between You, Siaron Nuar, myself and an unbiased party. I it would be most honorable for everyone to travel alone to this meeting. It seems the more people the more problems are created. Please send a reply so we can arrange this meeting as quickly as possible. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely Lord Fong.

He rolled up the second scroll, sealed it and walks out of the bank in search of another Messenger. He soon found one standing outside the gates of the town. Handing the boy a bag of gold and the scroll he gave him its destination and watched the boy run quickly to the town portal. After seeing him disappear Fong walked back to the eastern shore and watched the sun slowly rise, “I hope this will all end in peace and we can save the bloodshed for else where.”
