The Queen paced the halls of the Palace until she heard footsteps. The Lady Metjie entered with the Lady Ishtar. The Queen stepped forward holding her sister close to her, "I am happy you are safe. You look a little pale. Shall I send for the doctor."

"I am all right, a bit ill but I have herbs and spell to cure it. I will be fine. The doctor is not needed."

The Queen smiled and nodded, then called for the servants to run a hot bath and bring fresh clothes. Looking at Ishtar she calmly asked what happened.

Ishtar let out a deep breath and began to explain....

I was going through the tomes to start preparing for Ra's Birthday Celebration. I sent a servant to make me tea. Then I heard a noise outside. With the brigands one cannot tell. I went to the front door opened it and went out onto the porch. I turned and there was the pirate with his cutlass blaring. In shock I dropped the oils in the parfume bottle and I know it broke. When he grabbed me he tore one of the scrolls I was holding as well.
He told me to go with him or he would burn me. I followed him to the shoreline. If I walked to slow he would grab me and jerk me forward. We reached his ship and he threw this potion that went ablaze once it shattered.
I remember being at sea for a while till we came to a rcoky and sandy area. He forced me off the ship and there were Wyverns. He killed them and pushed me up into the stone lighthouse. He told me he would come each day and take me to town for supplies then locked the door behind him after handing me peasants clothes.
A few days later he said he sent a ransom and that I would b ehome soon. Earlier he showed up askign if I was ready to go. He took me back on the boat to Serpents hold where your son and the Emmissary and others helped me get away.

Ishtar looked at her sister, I am happy to be home. I have much to catch up on.

The Queen looked at her with a smile, "Yes you do and perhaps we can talk about finding you a suitable husband when things settle."

Ishtar lowered her head, "I am not ready to marry and do not want a husband chosen for me."

Holding her sister again the Queen answered, "Very well but at least be polite to meet a few possibilities there willb eno obligation."

Ishtar nodded, "That is fair but, no obligations."

The servants entered saying her bath was ready. Ishtar stood up and followed them and lef the Queen to her thoughts...
I wish she would be reasonable, but this at least us a step in the right direction and she is home safely.

She smiled happy to have her sister home.
