I also have good news for you to deliver to your king. William of the lion Knights has been apprehended. He surrendered over the weekend peacefully and has chosen his council for trial. I am sure the Regent will set a date for the trial at tonight’s meeting. I am sure your troops will also be delighted by the news and look forward to withdrawing from Jhelom and returning to their city and families.

Under Williams surrender agreement, in pursuit of a peaceful outcome some conditions were set. Aside from the usual of protection, humane treatment and a fair trial. The Regency will not turn William over for future trials in other lands, however, if your city wished to levy other charges Sanctus my join with the prosecution. If found guilty any sentence will be served concurrently minus time already served. I will also testify that he turned himself in peacefully.
