MaryAnne sat in front of the fire. The camp would once again pack up and move to another location. Her thoughts went to the woman they helped within the last couple of weeks. Orianna was her name, she believed. Orianna had overheard MaryAnne speak of a city, named Sanctus. How she had met a wonderful man, named Prince Zarlox Skyfire. Orianna claimed to have known the city, but was unsure of the man. In hope against hope, MaryAnne asked her to deliever a gift to Zarlox. Orianna, in a gesture of gratitude agreed. Now, MaryAnne could only sit and wonder if the woman fulfilled her promise. Each time she thought of Zarlox, something stirred deep within her heart. She passed it off as an infatuation. After all how often does a commoner like herself meet such royality. Anyways, if it were anything more..it mattered not. He was a prince and she was only the daughter of a gypsy healer. She could only hope that she would once again see the kind man that helped her during times of loneliness on that cold barren land she called home for a while. Her mind then drifted to Brother Gregory. What did he mean, he had hoped she remembered her past. What past was there to recall? As she got lost into the gaze of the fire...she tried to recall the dreams she has had. But each time she tried, her head would start to throb. So she would soon forget trying. The dreams were twisted images. Most of Zarlox and a couple others of people she did not recall. Except one...a man she had seen at the Inn that one day with lots of his men. He had looked around the area a few times and did not seem to recognize her nor did he interact with her. Of course, she could see why, after all he seemed like an important man..and once again she but a lowly commoner. She found it odd how he wore so much green though. She figured he must been in a secret spy, and the green helped him hide within the high grass.

"MaryAnne, time to get some rest. We head out early morn."

The voice broke her concentration. MaryAnne gazed up from her log and smiled.

"Alright mother. I will be in after bit."

The elderly woman just shook her head with a sad smile up on her lips. MaryAnne noted that it seemed her mother had something she was hiding. But as to what, she was unsure..nor did she feel it was her place to pry. After all, if it was something that would affect her, surely she would make some kind of mention about it. MaryAnne got up and dusted off her skirt. She gazed up to the skies seeing one of the brightest stars ever. She closed her eyes and whispered softly to herself.

"Please bright star, if his Lordship Zarlox is looking upon you as I am now..twinkle for him to let him know, I have not forgotten him. And help guide and keep him safe on any evening journies he may take."

With that silent pray said, she put out the camp fire and retired to her tent.

"To find one woman among a gypsy camp in Ilshenar" Zarlox thought to himself. "Might as well try to find one particular salesman in Britain."

He extended his hands out in front of him to absorb the warmth coming from his camp fire and sighed.

Oh, he had met several gypsy women in the past few days, many of them more than willing to be this MaryAnne he sought. But they were not the one he loved, and so he had kindly sidestepped their advances. The last one, her name was Crystal, a young and beautiful girl, had practically thrown herself upon him. This is when he decided he needed to change his approach. Zarlox knew he was not a particularly attractive man, and it was the Title of "Prince" that had caused these reactions.

No longer using his Title of Prince, he smiled as he looked down at the traveling clothes he had on. The memories he had acquired over the years in this simple attire had been some of the best of his life....he hoped he would have one more pleasant memory to add to that.
