It has been many months since I have had the time to do any research. I had been working on a project a few seaons back.
This project might bring new help to those suffering terrible illnesses.
I have been testing the application of a variety of different reagents in new combinations, hoping that it would heal where other attempts had not.
I have a new method for breathing life back into a corpse. Between my arcance studies and my necromantic studies, I seek to combine the best skills from both disciplines.
I shall test this near the Demon Temple. There are often fallen demons there.
*quick scrawling note*
It seems to be working, the Demon has revived...
*remainder of pages of journal are burnt beyond legibility* _________________ "When he spoke, what tender words he used! So softly, that like flakes of feathered snow, They melted as they fell." - John Dryden |

Cat Lyxen and Gildamar were attending the tourney at the arena outside of the city of Luna. Many people were there and the spectator seats were filling up quickly.
Cat sat next to Gildamar watching the beginnings of the tourney and waving to the people she knew. She noticed Silent Poet had come to the tourney and after a while had become very quiet.
She moved over to his seat and called his name. He responded by asking her who she was and if she were speaking to him. She grew concerned and called Gildamar over to them. Silent Poet was very confused about who he was, who Cat and Gildamar were and even how he had come to be at the tourney. Gildamar asked Silent Poet how much he had had to drink, but Cat reassured Gildamar that drink would not be Silent Poets trouble.
They grew concerned for their friend and decided to remove him from the noisy atmosphere of the tourney. Gildamar produced a magical gate to the Dark Order Tavern, the Dark Adder. Once there they spoke to Silent Poet and tried to tell him about who he was and that they were his friends.
He seemed to start to respond and then they told him he was in fact a poet and a very accomplished singer of songs he thought very hard and decided to give a song a try. The song he chose was a song from his heart to his wife he had lost long ago. As the song went on Silent Poet's eyes became clearer and he seemed to be aware of who he was and where he was. When the song ended and Silent Poet was on his knees and in tears, he had regained his memory.
Cat and Gildamar questioned him about how he had become so disoriented. His journal only showed them that he had been working on an experiment and something had happened. Silent Poet told them that he had revived a deamon. But the deamon couldnt be controlled. Now the deamon was loose, and no one was safe.
The night ended with many worries for the people of the realm. What did the deamon want? Why had the deamon taken Silent Poet's memory? and where would he strike next... |

Blood splattered everywhere as the blood elemental parished under the claws of my faithful dragon. At that very instant I felt something land on my shoulder, which startled me.
"Ahh its just you, my pet raven. What have you brought me?"
I took the parchment from the raven and quickly unrolled it. It was a quickly scrawled note from Ditto. It read as follows:
Gil,
Come to the Dark Adder hurry it concerns Cat
Ditto
I then used my magical knowledge to teleport to Moonglow stables to safely stable my Dragon. Then off to the Dark Adder I went. I was greeted by Silent Poet and he hurried me off to go see Cat Lyxen at the tower in front of the Adder.
I arrived at the top floor of the tower to see Cat and Ditto standing across the table from each other. I greeted Ditto first and walked up to her. Before I could even say hello to my love, she asked Ditto if I was her husband. My jaw dropped and my heart sunk, I knew that something was wrong with her. She didn't realize who I was...
After a few minutes of trying to make her realize who I was, I decided to take her to show her where she lived and her workshop.
We arrived at her workshop in my home. I motioned for her to sit on her bench at her loom. I open up her chest containing her leather and sewing tools. The smell of leather filled the room. I looked over to Cat sitting on the bench. She was shaking her head and blinking her eyes.
"Cat?"
"Gil!" she said in a frightened voice
"Sweetie, are you Ok?"
Nodding she said, " What happened?"
" I am unsure but it seems you temporarily lost your memroy like Poet did."
" Hun, My head still feels fuzzy. The last thing I remember is sitting with Poet and Ditto at the Adder. I think I should go to bed and get some rest." she said, worried.
I escorted her to bed and wished her a good night then returned to my home. I thought long and hard. Could this be connected to the demon that Poet revived? If so, why did it steal yet another person's memories.... |
