Mallory missed her friends from Riverrun and hoped they would be understanding of her recent absence. She had been cleaning out her house when she came across some old papers and letters of her father's. She had wanted to tell them what she was doing, but was afraid they would think her foolish for going on a wild goose chase. The letters led her back to her hometown of Minoc. It brought back many memories, both good and painful, but alas the letters were a dead end. Not one person remembered her father.

When she returned to Sanctus she put the letters away once again and set back to work of being a mayor and a friend. She could only hope that her beloved Smiticles would be understanding of her sudden disapperance.

Sitting at her desk she pulled two pieces of parchment out and began writing on the first...



Dear Brianha,
I hope that this letter finds you in good spirits my friend. It has been far too long since we have talked. I apologize for my recent absence. I do hope that we might be able to have the adventure I spoke of in my previous letter, perhaps this Saturday? Please let me know if this is a good time for you.

Mallory eyed the second piece of parchment, took a deep breath and began writing her second letter...



My darling Smiticles,
I hope that this letter finds you well my love. I must apologize for my recent absence. I hope that you will forgive me for not letting you know where I was. I will try to explain the next time that we are together, which I am hoping is soon. I have missed you very much. I am hoping to have an adventure get together this Saturday, if it is a good time for everyone.

She let the ink dry and she closed the letters with the official Sanctus seal. She then made her way to Riverrun to deliver the messages.
