Mallory sat down at her desk and pulled a few sheets of parchment from the stack. She opened her small bottle of ink and began penning a few letters.

Mallory let her hand rest a bit and pondered a moment. She looked over the letters she had written and was pleased. She folded them up and sealed them all with the official seal of Sanctus. She called in a messenger and asked him to deliver them by hand to each of the recipients. She gave him a few gold coins and bid him a safe journey. She then pulled out one last sheet of parchment and began to write...

My darling love,
I hope that this letter finds you well. I have missed you, and now that things seem to be calming down a bit, I really want to spend time with those I love and care about, that I have been neglecting. I am writing to invite you to an adventure dinner on Saturday night. The adventure will begin at nine in the evening. I look forward to spending time with you!

She sealed this last note with a kiss and leaving her house she recalled to Riverrun to deliver this note. Using her key, she let herself into the house and made her way to Smiticles' room and laid the note on his pillow. She gave a few wafers to his parrot and just as quietly as she had entered she left, relocking the door, and recalling away. She wondered what her friends would think of the mysterious notes, but then realizing there was still a good deal of work to be done, she began organizing the menu and planning an adventure for them all...

He read the letter with pleasure and thoughts of his love brought great joy to his heart. He had been thinking of Mallory, and all of his friends, recently and this dinner would surely do the trick in bringing their comraderie together once more.

In response he penned:

My dearest love:

I would be honored to attend this Saturday evening. I have been thinking of you and have missed you dearly. I've journeyed to your home a few times over the prior fortnight but you have always seemed to allude me. It seems, little mouse, that you are always in hiding when the cat comes to play!

Of course, thoughts of adventure have always tweaked my interest and this one intrigues me to no end. I look forward to whatever mischief you may have planned.

Until this Saturday eve...unless we manage to see each other beforehand.
