In the ongoing days of the war against Umbra, Spawn stood tall among the other Sanctus troops at the recently built barricade that divided Sanctus from the city of Umbra. He was in charge of the city's defenses in place of absent General Jonas and Major M'Real. Spawn did not consider this to be a problem since he has had commanding experience during his time in Rivendell. The armies of the Ebon Skull were not present at the time which worried the Chief Justice greatly. He glanced at all the men around him before walking off to check on the rest of the city.

Spawn slowly walked in front of the Hanse's Hostel where he caught glimpse of a woman named Tika, a Deputy recruited into the ranks of Sanctus. He stopped next to her and greeted her politely. Tika returned the greeting with a smile. The two carried a conversation for a few moments until Spawn told her that he had a strange feeling. This feeling he had was not a unusual one. He had felt like this before when he was with Aerie. But now he felt this way with another... Tika.

After explaining this feeling he had to Tika, Spawn finally muttered the words that he thought he would never say again.

"I... love... you"

Tika however didn't look surprised, instead she said the words that Spawn wouldn't expect to hear from another woman.

"I love you too"

Spawn looked at Tika with a strong grin on his face. He knew he had found love again. He then leaned forward to give her a soft kiss. After the kiss, Tika let out a sigh of happiness. Spawn brought his new love to his home, showing Tika his most personal side which none have ever seen. As he laid on his bed along with Tika stroking her hair with his fingers, Spawn was indeed happier than he was during this war for he had found something that he never thought he would find again... Love.
