Heather Kinley left the luncheon with her friend's and headed over to her appointment across Brittania.
She went in and gave her name to the attendant and was asked to wait a moment to be announced. A few moments later she was escorted into the office. The attorney was expensive, but she had managed to save a few gold coins . After what seemed like hours, the paperwork was in her hands and ready to be presented to the Magistrate. She stepped out of the office , and out into the sunshine, stopped, stood a moment, then leapt into the sky with a mighty yell of happiness. Passerbys stopped and stared at her. She did not care. Soon she would be free.
Now to make some changes for her.
She headed back into town to meet up with the tailor and the haidresser with a renewed sense of self.
