Clocktower kicked ASS! I really love Scissor Man, I think that was CT2.

And Edda, that's weird. Don't think I'm above filing for a restraining order on a two year old!!

Clocktower was fun and a ton of laughs. My favorite hiding spot by far was behind the aquarium. I laughed so hard at the "Where are you?" Apparently bad dead guys can't see behind water and glass? Laughing

Tell me what the gameplay movements are like. Is it first person perspective or can you do both.

Is it hard to get used to the controls for it? Is it user friendly? What sort of fighting style? Do you just shoot things with a gun or is there other things you fight with?

If it is easier to run as its a newer game then I will definitely want to go get it. Fatal frame is a very phsychological game, so I love that sort as well as a really good storyline, if what you are telling me about this Silent hill is correct then I cant wait to grab it!

It's all third person. The fixed camera angles from the earlier installments of the game are gone (unfortunately) and the camera is usually behind the main character or over the shoulder.

The controls are incredibly easy to pick up. Again, there is no fighting style. Just a LOT of running and hiding. It's a thinking person's game, more observation than annihilation.

I highly recommend playing it alone, in the dark, with the volume about as high as you can manage. I had that coupled with the storm I'm caught in the middle of and it was an experience and a half. Power went out at some times that made for spooky coincidences.

For an overall feel of the gameplay, think of the Psycho Mantis encounter in MGS without the controller and memory card gimmicks. Mantis is a chump compared to this game. The game was able to pick up on things about me that I never thought it'd ever bother with. I don't want to spoil it, but if anyone's curious message me.

This actually sounds really fun. I mean in a horror game when you see children in it, they are the evil ones. Always, never fails. So this one looked good.

And Yasa, I dunno my favorite part of Clocktower was when you came to me asking me how to get past the first hammer guy. Then you further tried to jog my memory of it by saying, "Yeah you know, when you go out of the house and it's all WWII?"

And my reply..."You got out of the house...?"

*snickers* I figured out how to kill the hammer dude! You were so pissed. *laughs* But darn it, you played forever so I was sure you had thrown holy water on the door! Twisted Evil

Clocktower 3 was fun, the enemies were interesting but the game wasn't as scary as I had hoped. Corroder was a BAMF though. Best game in the clocktower series was the one for super nintendo, though it was pretty easy to screw up and get a poor ending.

lol Clocktower didn't scare me, but it was fun, and made me jump a few times. Nothing to date has matched fatal frame for me. Number two just had me scared to walk around the house.
