You should absolutely try it, regardless of your thoughts on the previews. I think I remember you saying something about Max Payne or something akin to that in comparison to the Dragon Age previews. It's nothing like that at all. It's the best RPG to come out since... uhhh. Well I can't think of a better one that I've played (and I played all the Baldur's Gate games).

I'm really curious as to what specifically in the previews made you lose respect for the game? I honestly loved all the previews, especially the Sacred Ashes trailer (seriously, one of the coolest and most BA CGI trailers I've seen since... I can't remember). I think the game built up a lot of hype, and my expectations were exceeded.
