Sometimes people just want blood on their hands. *Shrugs* I knew the odds were quite opposed to us but we stood just as fair a chance as we were ever going to. Pound for pound, the groups can hang surprisingly well together. Our forces were assembled with the sole purpose of combat. Regardless of form or odds, I was not about to stop it. I won't get started on WHY we were assembled for the sole purpose of combat *rolls his eyes* but it's not an everyday common occurrence and positives came out of the whole encounter.

I am personally -very- opposed to combat occurring on mounts. In the future I would like to see more of this promoted to lend a better feel for "battle". I know the pace of UO is to be on horseback charging around and charging people down but it is much more disconnected and much less realistic than dancing blade-to-blade with someone on foot.

I could agree with everyone fighting on foot... Until i got booted from vent for the 20th "I CAN'T F****ING KEEP UP WITH THEM"
Very Happy

As far as the fight goes, I'd say that spot was chosen pretty well and with a couple more mages the bad guys could have easily taken away the numbers advantage on the bridge. Can we do it again? Can we?! Pleeeeaaaase?

Well, if everyone -isn't- on horses then you shouldn't have problems catching people. Unless they're using speed hacks or something.
I wasnt there on a mount. In fact, almost all of us weren't on the bad guys side. Why would you ride a horse into battle if you depend on stealth to fight?

Just an honest question.
