arpc and FAR are just message boards with slightly different rules. people have and always will RP who whoever teh eff they want. and that continues to this very night. evil? umbra is sadistic and insane, and zog wants to end your life, and the life of the current reader of this post.
the community has banned molly form being kidnapped.

As for a hot spot. there isnt one. atleast not a good one that everyone can go to. hanses used to be but now i only see sanctus there on occasion and i cant walk in with out haveing to strip down.
but pretty soon im gonna marry this hot chick in umbra and will try to introduce the community to a neutral all welcome establishment. more than likly the best one in UO. but more of that to come at a later date.

Well I suppose we can make room for both of our egos. I know I'm in the state of returning ALL the time. But this time I have my comrade in arms and stuff. So, when the rest of the community turns it nose up I'll have someone to hang with.

Anyways, enough of that man. Good to see you're still around. I remember those days....*sigh*

Dray is still kickn', just have to have people and things to keep me interested. Though after about a year of hopping on to really LAME MMO's *cough DDO, cough cough WOW* I need a game with depth and mostly a RP community that exists.

So with that said, good to see ya again Maxie.

Sorry to dissappoint, but I have not come back. Sad

As Rob said, I've been gone from UO for a long time. If I ever came back, it wouldn't be as Arcana because I sold my account. But I have no regrets there because her story was done in my mind. Her time in UO toward the end felt like one of the Tolkien elves who'd stayed in Middle Earth for a love of what used to be, but actually belonged in the West because the world had changed too much. So, think of her as living happily ever after in some remote corner of the world and making lots of little 1/4-ogre babies with Arlin.

I do like to keep an eye on things in the community here, as I have such fond memories of my time RPing here. I think about coming back sometimes with a fresh account and a new character, but I have been holding off because UO really needs to change in some fundamental ways (or offer a pre-UO:R server or something) for me to want to play it again.

But, I never say never... if the impossible happens and UO gets a true revap (not just graphical) then I'd probably play again. It would be very nice to come to the game "fresh" as it were and not having all my stuff and veteran rewards. Having all that stuff really made it so that I had nothing else I wanted to achieve in the game, and that in addition to the gameplay changes made it less fun for me. I also think that individual players having a house lessens the emphasis on community and reliance on other players - houses are for guilds imo as it concentrates the players in one spot. Well, I'll stop now,lol.
