I'm sure this won't come as a shock to most but after some long and careful consideration I have decided to cancel my account.

I've thought about all the friends I've made here and I will miss gaming with them but my current rl situation has prevented me from getting IG as much as I would like. And, quite frankly, the game bores me to tears these days. Aside from a few fun moments with friends, the same old BS has just worn me down. I can no longer justify paying the monthly fee just to hang on to my pixels in the hope the game gets better.

My account is paid through the end of the billing cycle (whenever that may be). I'm going to try to make it in game one or two more times to give away some stuff to close friends. I'll let you know when and if that occurs. I would also very much like to deed my house in Riverrun to an RPer. It took a long time to build that little village and it would be nice to see it stay out of l33t d0od hands if possible.

So there it is my friends. I'll lurk the boards every now and then. If my available time changes and the game gets better (or another better game comes along) I may be back.

I have considered doing the same thing myself lately, so I am not terribly shocked, but I am still very sad to see this day come. Just remember, good friends have fun IG together, but true friends don't need no stinkin' game. Keep in touch and we'll see you in a few months in Neverwinter Cool
