Ragnor Barakos could never understand why he was so much taller and larger than his friends and family. He lusted for battle more than anyone else in the village. It was all a mystery to the young man until the day his parents sat him down. A village warrior and a tailor raised him from the time he was only a year or two old. Ragnor didn't remember anything of his past, only pain.

"There was a large battle son." his father began to tell him. "The villages across this part of Sosaria banded together to invade a common enemy. They we called barbarians, vicious people, with the strength of two men. They were beganning to push they way towards the villages and we're taking the roads as their own. We couldn't trade between towns anymore, and it was becoming hard living you see. We knew we wouldn't beable to take the barbarians on with even numbers, they were trained to fight from birth."

Ragnor listened carefully as his father described the advance the villagers made towards the barbarians. In a sense he felt deeply sorry for the tribe, but couldn't figure out why.

"The tribe and the villagers fought for hours you see. Until finally we overwhelmed them and defeated them. A few got away but they never showed their faces around here. Son, we found you in a tent sleeping when the battle finished. We brought you home and raised you."

It all made sense to him now. They reason he was so much bigger, his lust for battle, his temper and pride. Unlike most barbarians Ragnor didn't wield an axe or a war hammer, he was a fencer. It seemed almost comical when this large man swung about a kryss, it looked almost like a dagger in his hands. None the less he could wield it better than anyone else in the village.

After a long discussion with his parents he understood there was so much more for him outside the village. Soon after he packed his things headed out. His father told him stories of militias around the lands. Alot were dispurse now, but one held strong "The Sanctus Militia" - just outside Luna. He figured he'd give it a go.

Ragnor didn't know what exactly he was really looking for. Perhaps more answers, or perhaps a reason to fight - for virtues. He didn't quite know what he'd do if he ever came across another barbarian. Deep down he wanted to meet the kin that got away from the villagers. But for another reason he knew it was best to stay far away from them.
