Alex sat and pondered to himself. A question that had been nagging him for awhile abruptly came into his head and he could no longer think of anything else. Hhmm... why? Why...? Why? So... why?

It seemed like a simple enough question, but the answer eluded him. The question was not simply why, there was more to it than that. He was not sure exactly what more, because it could not be summed up into one thing. It seemed near impossible to describe it. It was one of those things that involved something deeper than conventional words. He thought a moment longer, closing his eyes and lieing down gently in the grass.

It suddenly came to him, well at least the question did. The thought wafted through his mind like the smell of a fresh pie being cooled on the sill of a window. It made sense to him this way, although he could not share this with anyone but himself. He tried to send the mental image to a nearby squirrel, just for the fun of it. The squirrel looked up slowly and chittered quietly while moving very slightly. The small woodland animal then went back to searching the ground for food. Perhaps the squirrel had understood his mental picture, but more than likely he did not. It was not that the squirrel was not smart enough, for Alex knew that it was plenty smart. It was more likely that Alex just did not know how to properly link images from his own mind to the mind of others. He thought about this quickly and decided that the reasoning behind this was that the language of the mind was different for everyone. It was like another language, yet no two were alike. The squirrel quite possibly got the image sent to it, it just had no clue on how to go about decyphering it.

Perhaps Alex could work on this. That was not important at the moment though. Back to the question at hand... the question who's only physical manifestation was the sole word of 'why'.

OOC note: I'll assume that was just a little of RP prose for us. Practicing for a big RP speech or something?

Awakened and unable to sleep, Angelique traveled off to her lab, leaving Isk and Arella sleeping soundly in the bed. She was behind in there work there and could get several batches of Utopia made up for Isk. Not that he used it as much himself anymore, but she did so enjoy seeing him use it on others. "Ohh boys will be boys. Men and their play."

She grins as she works wondering who these batches will be used on.

OOC: It's building up to something, but I'm not sure exactly. Just some random stuff. Not really practicing for a speech and I don't think Utopia will get involved. Mostly what Grig said, with the possibility of a speech but not yet. And you're not supposed to -get it- yet, Baratus. It's just the beginning.
