Bailos,
While I know it might be atypical for me to write you after the fallout of, mm, whatever I was accused of doing... However, I can't help but notice that you've not only taken my position, but you're continuing one of my old projects. I would like to take this opportunity to give you some advice on how to go about it.
You won't win over anybody with the way you're acting now. Everyone knows that open warfare against the long-time rulers of Zento is probably the opposite of the city's best interests. Plus, the incident with William has created a strong nationalism, and the people will be more likely to rally behind their Council and oppose you, especially if you keep provoking them.
The best way to go here is patience. You need to wait for a crisis to occur, or create one if you can, then propose a solution to it. Spread propaganda about why your solution is the best one possible, as well as the most practical and beneficial to the people. Then swoop in and take over with full popular support and minimal confrontation. Right now you're shooting yourself in the foot with a crossbow.
Also, if you can figure out why exactly I've been ostracized from the Order and turned into a pariah, I would greatly appreciate it if you told me. I can't remember doing anything other than obeying my orders to the fullest and helping the Order at every chance I could get. Perhaps I was punished for being too loyal or too capable. Alas, all I can do is speculate until somebody tells me what I did wrong.
And just for the sake of information, I've given up all responsibilities I may have had with the Order since I was removed, including all titles, positions, and guardianships. Anything I might have been holding onto for the Order has been returned to its rightful owner. This is not an act of vengeance, it is merely justice. After all, I've no need for these trinkets anymore, and if the Order feels they can't trust me with them then I don't want to have them.
Do write back.
