*Occuring a week and a few days before the festive season*

The small, infant faces stared up at him, not entirely registering who he was, but it didn't matter; that their eyes fell on him, and one of them, the boy, emitted a small...well, not really a giggle, but one can imagine it as such, melted Martin's heart. Their little arms waved around without direction, their eyes searching for something they didnt even know of. And Martin beamed at them. A son and a daughter. A son.....and a daughter......or a daughter and a son. One or the other, he was ready for... but both!

Tearing his eyes away from the children, Martin looked up at Molly, her brow wet with sweat from the ordeal, but she smiled at him, and extended her arms. Isilmea, standing near, took the little girl from Martin's arms and handed her to her mother, who cradled the baby in her arms. Silence, aside from the gentle noices emitting from the twins, prevailed in the garden on the rooftop of Molly's house. Isilmea smiled on at the pair and their new pair, and the Queen of Hearts extended her congratulations.

Shortly, Isilmea and Queen of Hearts departed, leaving Martin and Molly to admire what they had brought into the world. Time seemed to stand still as they gazed affectionately at the two babies. After a long while, Martin looked to Molly and whispered "What will we name them, love?"
Thinking for some time, Molly looked down at the girl in her arms.
"You, my darling, will be Malta'Vesta. And you.." She looked to the boy in Martin's arms, "will be Meiv'Kolindo."

Though he heard them only once, and they were elven, the names of his children buried themselves in Martin's mind, never to be forgotten.
