Wiros was beginning to grow impatient. Nothing had happened in a long while, no action, and just a few battles. This night hopefully something exciting would happen.
He stood as firmly as he could, the ale he had consumed wouldn't allow him to stand perfectly up right, and tossed the dagger at the target. Each time, missing the center, each time he snarled louder. Finally he spun on his heal to face a statue of a face. He stepped back a few steps, carefully, and hurled the dagger forward. It lodged right into the left eye of the statue; he repeated what he had done, this time the dagger stuck into the right eye.
"Always hitting the eyes, but not the damn bull’s-eye."
He sighed quietly and decided he should start his nightly stroll. He would start at the Regency meeting once again. Wobbling over to the coat hanger he grabbed his hooded shroud and took off.
He kept to the shadows, sneaking into the back of the Regency meeting. Arriving shortly after a scuffle with some OES members and Isk, he listened carefully. This meeting, like all the rest, would be boring but important to stake out.
Growing extremely bored after about an hour, Wiros took off down the hall to pull of his shroud. He now strolled back to the Regency meeting, to have some fun. As soon as he arrived, he slipped into a chair at the "loyalists" table. After sitting there for a little while, he wondered if anyone knew he was there. He quietly made his way down the isle and sat in another chair. He sighed loudly and put his feet on the table, busting out an ale bottle he took a few sips. He had gotten away with it for the most part, until an over sized large blue beast lifted him clear out of his chair, placing him on the ground.
He muttered quietly, nothing was going to happen this night. He made his way out of the meeting and down the hallway, pulling his shroud on once again. Sticking to the shadows he made his way down towards a bunch of animals gathered, mounts of someone. He watched quietly as Molly and her followers mounted their steeds. Before he knew what was happening he saw a few dark figures appear, knocking Molly clear off her steed, poisoning her, and sending bursts of cold in the surrounding area. She hit the ground before her followers could react. Wiros watched as they chased one of the assassins away, while the rest made to the shadows and hid for a while.
He chuckled quietly, the first hit he had seen in a while. Running off quietly, nearly unseen he stopped. He spun around suddenly.
"What if they can't get away?" he thought to himself. He crept up to a door and stood up straight. He banged on the door, startling the followers of Molly. They turned their attention to him than forgot about it as he snuck away. He had hoped it helped some what, probably not enough to brag about.
He made his way to Dark Cove; it was around the time he usually scouted around the area. Sticking to the shadows, like always, he crept around the borders of the D|O fortress than around the other homes. Slowly he made his way to the sand stone home of the Thormear’s. Not much activity had gone on around here for sometime, since Beowulf had killed himself Tatiana spent most of her time away from the home.
He looked through the tree branches and saw a familiar face sitting on the porch. Charger was sitting, half drunk, on the porch drinking ale. He wasn't allowed to leave the land of fellucia once again, for his "criminal" acts of murder. Wiros snuck up beside him and stepped into the open.
Charger, startled, looked up at Wiros. He carefully reached down beside him and wrapped his fingers around a cold bottle of ale. Pulling out the cork with a dagger stuck in the bench beside him, be handed the bottle of to Wiros.
"Didn't know if you were stoppin by Bis." Charger spoke, half hiccupping as the words came out.
"Regency meeting was a tad long, watched a hit though." Wiros grinned as he placed the bottle to his lips and took a long refreshing gulp.
"The lady still not around?" Wiros asked
"Aye she’s been out with friends most of the time, spending the nights somewhere else."
"I've been keeping an eye around here, it was an agreement Beowulf and I had along time ago. Before those fella's from OES burned his house down, we made a deal that I'd watch over Tatiana and he'd help keep me clean."
Charger chuckled and nodded slightly. "Sounds like Beo took all kinds of precautions for his woman."
"It would seem like it. They moved to Dark Cove, so the protection wasn't needed as much. After he died however, I've started up the scouting, just incase."
They carried on different conversations nearly all night long. Out bursting in laughter, spilling ale on the ground and getting into a couple fist fights. The two seemed to get along, only because of their similarities the importance of gold and ale. _________________
