Nick reads the posting and is puzzled...

He makes haste to the Headquarters alerting his guildmates of his choice.

He told Lady Skirel that he would return post haste for the Scavanger Hunt planned for the evening.

As Nick scrambled to find a scribe to copy several books, he noticed the posting and made arrangements to do as it had requested.

Since Nick had made amends with Arlin over Nick's ignorant remark, he felt it safe to go alone, but felt that Lilyth should also be notified of the meeting. If the meeting pertained to Yew, Lilyth's presence could be an asset.

Nick left the Event Planning to Lord Taral and Lady Skirel as he met with Lilyth and quickly gated to the AOF Headquarters with a rune he had marked previously.

As they exited the Gate, two AOF Guards were on the steps; Tai and another Lady unknown to Nick. Tai looked injured despite his attempt to grimace through the wounds.

As Nick verified , with Tai, that he had been called and was expected, Arlin exited the building and addressed Nick and Lilyth. He looked sickly but appeared to be mending well despite a very disheartening cough.

Arlin went on to explain the events in Poets earlier that evening. Nick had been to Poets to place runes to the Saint's events being held, but didn't notice anyone there at the time. His fellow saints and event participants could vouch for his presence at the Saint's Mall or West Britannia Bank to open gates for participants.

As the meeting ended, Arlin stopped short of accusing Nick of planning the incident. Despite the obvious connotation Nick remained resolved in the fact that he had done no such thing.

As Nick and Lilyth departed for the Saint's Event, Nick thought of all the enemies Arlin had gathered over his short time in Yew.

"Surly, I am the least of his enemies and we had made amends of past trespasses." Nick thought to himself.

Nick awaited more information, as he had requested from Arlin and Tai. The meeting had passed from Nick's mind as the STC events of the evening began.
