David had not recived an answer from Valkor and David swore if he did not get the answer he wanted that he would curse Valkor. The curse that David chose was one of such fright that any time Valkor tried to sleep all Valkor could do was see david in his dreams talking, talking of what he had to do if he wanted to remove the curse that he had recived due to his egotistical attitude. To help Nephi and his friends summon David back from the vail of death and if he did not start before twelve midnight the following night that he would be cursed again with an even stronger curse than before and that it would continue untill he choose to help.
