She let out a curse so foul it would have made the men around her blush if she ever paid heed. Her lack of self-consciousness and modesty made the idea of offending anyone a foreign concept. It was one of the very reasons she'd been hired for this job. This was bad. With the newest development, she'd have to cut out the Moonglow run and drop off in Magincia. She pulled, untying the rope and dropping it into the water. A black leather boot appeared beside her on the wooden pillar but she didn't turn. When the soft white hair at the back of her neck stood up, she realized she probably should have. As the scent of salt, sea, and peppermint hit her.. she *knew* she should have. Turning, she started to straighten. Even with the sun blocking out every possible feature of the woman before her she was unmistakeable. "You're early."

"You don't miss much." False appreciation laced with venomous laughter seeped from shadowed lips.

"What happened to tomorrow?" Ruairi put a hand on her hip lightly.

"I had some... communications to get out. Are you ready?"

"Headed out now." Any one of the other crew could have piped up. They would have, if they weren't so afraid of watching the woman rip them from groin to neck and their entrails used as tomorrow's sausage liners. Ruairi saw her nod, her expressions mostly hidden behind the mempo. She started to ask if the armor was new, but hesitated. She listened to wind as it whipped around her thin body and felt herself coil. Captain Fawn was unpredictable at the best of times. And in this temper, she was deadly.
