*A dark wisp moves silently through the streets of Umbra until it passes finally over the eastern bridge. As it enters the lands of the Drow it begins to sway back and forth slowly. Taking its time as it searches the town for the Drow Queen.*

I believe it is time a more formal introduction be made between your most exhaulted kind and that of my Coven. I believe this oppurtunity to be of mutual interest and understanding between our two great species. There is much to gain from this as I am sure you are aware. If you are agreeable to the following terms, merely send your reply back with the Shadow Wisp before you and it shall bring it to me.

1) The meeting be held in the spirit of diplomatic relations.

2) The location be held upon the lands we may both declare Elysium for the purposes of this gathering. The time and location may be determined later.

3) No other being attend other than the Drow or Kindred.

There is much we can offer each other. It would be a shame to let a chance such as this to slip through your fingers.

Kal'iksix returned to her palace after overseeing the final education and graduation of the twins from the academies. Their father, Ian Nottingham, would be quite impress on their progress albeit their rapid growth due to an experiment from Rhyl, the female twin, who watched her Aunt Kelly's chemistry experiments a tad too much. Kal told the twins to pack for their excursion with their older half-brother Vas'al when the strange wisp caught her eye. Kal'iksix listened closely to the message the wisp carried. She slowly sat on her throne chair, fingers tented in thought before she recorded her response to the wisp.

Dear Exalted Lord or Lady,
I will meet with you to discuss what you have to offer. When and where will not matter as long as great lengths will be taken to assure my protection, as any harm brought unto me will invoke the wrath of the Spider Queen/Goddess Herself. Fear not of others from my end, as it would not be a good show of trust if I were to bring others.

As for it being a "shame" to me to let said opportunity "slip through my fingers", arrogance can be viewed as a weakness to some of my kind since it is more of an honor for you to seek consul with me than I with you. No worries, I will educate you in the ways of the drow should our relations grow and prosper.

*Taking out a clean parchment, I begin to write my reply.*

Matron Kal'iksix Viaxus,

You have my word that your protection shall be secured. I shall send someone to your town with a means to reach the location. They will arrive the night of the 20th as the hour reaches 9 by the eastern sky. I look forward to these introductions and to learn more of your noble race.
