The ghost of a boy no older than 12 can be seen crying. As he approaches Thraxas a message is heard... "Thraxas, The Giovanni are back and they wish to speak with you. Any Giovanni, just speak with them to end my torment. I have no time to waste." As the message is finished the little ghost bends down picks up a stuff bear, waves, then fades into the shadows" In the distance, screaming can be heard, maybe from that little boy.

Thraxas was surprised by the apparition but not frightened. It took more than mere ghosts to scare daemon-kin.

The Giovanni...

The memory of a meeting and brief conversation with one of them some months ago came to mind. Or was that another?

No matter... Perhaps this is another good chance to establish some mutually profitable trade...

As Agustus sits scribbling at his desk crying can be heard from behind him. Without turning he questions "So Spettri, have you served the family? What does this Thraxas say?"... The childlike ghost, clinging to his bear responds with a warbled voice "He said nothing master, he seemed quite at ease with me." Agustus ponders. During that moment the ghost child starts reaching towards his master, tearing through the shroud with claw like ability at the thin sheet that seperates our world from theirs. Just as the spirit is inches away the master, without turning around to confront the spirit, holds up a rattle, a childs toy rattle. "Spettri, would you have me crush to one thing that keeps you drawn to our world. Go away till you are needed again." And with that the child flashes away.

"I wouldn't keep him around if he wasn't so clever." as he leans over to the window "Aszcar, I need you to seek that Maritime fellow, nevermind, I'll go"
