Thus far all passes fair with Magincia. Hopefully my chance encounter with Acheron in Haven last eve shall prove productive in result.
My continued holding to the vow given Eclyse rests perilous upon the recovering state of my injuries although, without the magic infused into the heavy steel brace I now wear on my right leg, the limb yet remains quite benumbed. 'Tis a dangerous fact were it known by those whom I oppose, thus I pray it transient and soon resolved.
Two days hence Faerwhynne's king takes a bride. My heart soars with joy everlasting! _________________ *Even if you be otherwise perfect, you fail without humility. ~ The Talmud* |

I spent a large portion of this night in conversation with a recently acquired follower of Lord Isk. His knowledge of Humanis seems expansive and he appears to adhere to its teachings with great zeal. Eclyse and I are certainly most grateful for the information gained. Indeed it shall serve us well as we continue our studies. _________________ *Even if you be otherwise perfect, you fail without humility. ~ The Talmud* |

We walk in the lands of our allies observed by stealthers who choose to appear and question our presence. When asked whether we were unwelcome the reply returned vague, leaving us to wonder . . . and smile. _________________ *Even if you be otherwise perfect, you fail without humility. ~ The Talmud* |

I understand hatred for it bores through my soul like a ravenous parasite. Equally familiar is rage, an ever present companion that beckons its blood lust with my every breath. Yet as ensconced as I am within the embrace of these vile emotions, comprehension of Isk's twisted mentality profoundly eludes me. The man's self-loathing radiates unbounded and his envy devours the very core of his essence. His actions against those of non-human heritage are the far-reaching projection of these maniacal psychoses. How can he justify such unholy transgressions enmasse so convincingly, gather about him an army so blindly willing to defend his insanity? What folly he must feed them! What puppets they become in the mire of his service. He leads them to their deaths and they see it not. _________________ *Even if you be otherwise perfect, you fail without humility. ~ The Talmud* |

I owe the Magincian woman, although my favor shall hardly be given in equal light measure. A return to the scene looms nigh. _________________ *Even if you be otherwise perfect, you fail without humility. ~ The Talmud* |

AARON?! Who the hell? A coward's facade! A very soon to be dead coward! _________________ *Even if you be otherwise perfect, you fail without humility. ~ The Talmud* |

Allowing the issue time to settle into proper perspective, I've chosen not to pursue this 'Aaron'. The folly of peasants is not worth trifling with. _________________ *Even if you be otherwise perfect, you fail without humility. ~ The Talmud* |

I return to my mantle of solace.
Poverty.
Obedience.
Chastity.
Slowly, humbly, quietly, do my steps advance back to whence they came.

Certain pain is impossible to deny whether physical or emotional, real or imagined. It bears jagged edges that can never be properly mended no matter the effort attempted. Constant reminders once thought put down have recently resurfaced and, while seeming silent in their passing, reopen the wound with unrelenting resonant intemperance. To this day the cause remains unclear, yet that lessens not the truth but that I loved. Shadows stepping once more into the light leave me little choice but to away before the melancholy breaks through walls put up again as shield. _________________ *Even if you be otherwise perfect, you fail without humility. ~ The Talmud* |
