It was a habit now. She reached up to stroke the hair at the back of her head with her right hand. It had long since grown back in but the motion was second nature now. If only the hole on the opposite hand were as easily replaced. As is, it was something she would ever be without.

Quietly she tapped her staff three times and watched it poof into nothingness. The steps of the Inn were familiar and friendly. For some time now Papua had been home. Today however, it would include a face that had also been missing from her life for some time. Today it would include Felyn.

With a deep breath Shri'hrae climbed the rungs and entered the inner sanctuary. Her heart heavy from a mixture of anxiousness and fear, she strode to the far support beam and set her back against it looking out into the middle and waited. She was drow after all, and time was something she had plenty of.
