Aaron finished his bath and stepped out of the still fairly hot water. He stepped into his leggings and boots with relative ease and combed his hands through his sunburst blond hair. His chest still damp he threw his tunic over his shoulder and headed for the Gypsy camp just outside of Luna.

The ride took less then 20 minutes on horseback. With a small salute to Chad, the ever watchful Gypsy of the campfire he handed over a letter he had penned the night before. “Please see that Amdiriel get's this?” The polite nod in response was all he needed before slinging himself back onto his horse.

“The Tempting and Persuasive Amdiriel,

It's become damn near impossible to find a dinner as good as yours. I keep harassing my sister about it but she really has no taste when it comes to cooking. So I turn to you. And honestly you are really my first choice.

I would like you to play tourist and chef once again for me. Not only will a yes on your part put an immediate smile on my face but I guarantee you I will be good company. As well as return the favor in any way you see fit to request.

Waiting with baited breath and a grumbling stomach,

Aaron Dell”

Grinning to himself he began to hum lightly on his way back to Luna.

Clackity clackity clackity clackity…

Amdiriel paused a moment and dipped a fingertip into the mortar. She examined the deep purple powder for colour and texture before touching the fingertip to her tongue. Squinting her eyes thoughtfully for a moment, she swirled her tongue against the roof of her mouth. Then, with a nod of approval, she dumped the mortar into a keg and stirred the potion slowly three times, clockwise. She dropped the pestle back into the mortar and hoisted the keg up onto the stone table just as Chad cleared his throat behind her. Startled, she dropped the keg the last few inches, sloshing the liquid down the front of her dress and soaking her skirts till they clung to her thighs.

“Chad!! Ed' i'ear ar' elenea!

Chad chuckled, blushing visibly and trying to avert his eyes as the soaked dress left little to the imagination. Trying, but failing. “I know yer mad when ya slip into yer pointy-eared.”

“Don’t just stand there staring, Dinaer. Get me something to dry this off!” Her elvish accent became thicker, the more flustered she became.

“Aye, Dir.” Chad tossed the letter onto the stone table next to the keg and hustled over to a stack of crates to take out a dry cloth.

Am-DEER-ee-ell!” She called after him. “You’ve not yet become so familiar as to butcher my name! She cracked half a smile as soon as he was out of sight, then picked up the letter and unfolded it. She read it quickly, her smile broadening as she finished.

She looked up and found Chad standing in the doorway with a dry cloth, again failing to avert his eyes. “Oh…grow up. Nothing you haven’t seen on some woman before.” But she blushed in spite of herself.

Chad smirked and handed her the cloth. “A response, Am-DEER-ee-ell?”

Amdiriel patted herself dry and fan her fingers through her hair thoughtfully. “Don’t think so, Chad. I know where to find him.” She followed Chad out of the tent, then watched him settle in on a log by the fire, and she grinned. “And now I know where not to bring him.”
