Back in 2002 a friend did two portraits for me of Dryzzid and Tyranthraxus. I just found them my old UO pics folder, thought I'd share. These portraits were done by Rhama'Locke of Elf.

(Note: The Dryzzid portrait I simply love. It is how I envision Dryzzid in my mind. I was not as big of a fan of the Tyranthraxus portrait as his hair was made to look like Sephiroth's, but I still like it. This picture was of Tyran when he first joined OES.)

Dryzzid:

Tyranthraxus:

Also! The most accurate portrayal of Tyranthraxus was drawn by Kaelthir/Norture in 2005 when I had a short stint as GM of OES. This portrait is of Tyranthraxus holding the Ebon Skull on top of Charnel Hill:

Much love to Kael because this portrait has always pwned in my mind Very Happy

This is where the Tyranothraxus sig came from :D
Also, I'm glad you like the Tyran pic. I've got a Tyran scribble too, honestly I have no idea what the conversation was that brought this on.

I honestly never intended his hair to look like Sephiroth's. What I mean to say is.. he wasn't modeled after Sephiroth. I just liked the way white hair looked (not bright white.. the white you get when you go bald then add a new hairstyle) and I never had a character back then with long hair. His name is, however, blatantly stolen from the D&D SSI Gold Box Series (Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secrets of the Silver Blades, Pools of Darkness.)

Also, I think there are some who will get a kick out of this:

I wouldn't worry about him looking like Sephiroth. Rhama's art is awesome, but anime looks like anime no matter the style. Much of it does look similar even when the artists can be told apart from each other at a glance. For instance, you wouldn't confuse Inuyasha's art with the art from Akira, but you would still know they are both anime if you are familiar with the genre.

This community has a lot of kickass artists. *big fan*

I know you didn't intend it looking like Sephiroth. I heard you ranting about it so drew a sig where you had Sephiroth hair! As for name stealing, it's not really that uncommon.
