From what I understand, the human/elf side winner is a good person too (i.e. someone who seems like she is going to put the house to good use)

Also a quote about how the winner was actually chosen:

Based on the formula given, today at server up, all "eligible" characters (ie: have a lamp and did part one of the quest) were put into a pool and a random one chosen as the winner. As long as that chosen winner claims the prize (ie: logs in and runs through part 3 of the quest today), the house will be awarded. If the chosen winner does not do the quest today, then we repeat with a new winner chosen at server-up tomorrow.


Sooooooo I don't feel too bad now for falling asleep just prior to server up on the day it was given out. It seems I didn't have a chance anyways Wink

Yep, that's RNG luck for ya. I figured I had zero chance myself being that i won a castle over on Legends by rolling highest in a dice game. Already used up all my RNG luck on that one.

Of course, that's the castle I gave up to build a house on Atlantic...*sigh*

I can't complain really.. the chance of getting the house was so small and I did manage to pull 4 talismans and 4 cloaks.. so I'm content.

Apparently now you can obtain the Frostguard Talisman and the Ranger's Cloak through the new quest out. There are also new rewards depending on which Lieutenant you report to.
