Kyros poured his gaze over the ground outside of the stone chamber, noting the spacing of the tracks and the direction. He paid special attention to the depth, she'd been moving quickly. Standing he removed the cloth from his breast pocket, wiping the mud on the delicate linen he gave himself an inward nod.

"What was the name of that city?"

Enjoying a final glance at the complex, Kyros gazed down at the linen, he'd placed it on the hilt of his katana, only after inspecting it did he notice the crimson colour it had absorbed. Raising a single brow he positioned his hand over his lip and dabbed. Laughing out loud he spoke,

"Not a bad jab. Not a bad jab, indeed."

She collapsed onto a chair in the meadhall, letting out a slow breath. She had hoped that she had ran far enough to loose the hunters trail. She recalled her run, far out into the wilderness, then down a river some time, only to emerge on the other side several miles down, trying to confuse the hunter before porting herself home. The man couldn't honestly be that smart, could he?

She rubbed her bruised wrists. The color was fading slowly, as her body healed itself. He had tied them pretty tight, she realized. Perhaps this hunter knew what he was doing, unlike many she'd seen before. Her body was sore from the assult, bruises here and there from the hilt of a Katana, but nothing worse for the wear.

"Not a bad fighter. Not a bad fighter indeed."
