|
The WoW devs entirely revamped the valentine's day content. In Undercity, there are now boats that float around a ring of plague goo.
Now, the story behind WoW valentine's content is undead apothecaries (think of Kaelthir for reference, assholes who like to plague things for rubbish and giggles) make drugs to mess with peoples' heads. This year, they hired goblins to sell it and spread it. So you get a quest to give free samples, check out what you use:
And you can get a quest to kill the apothecaries who are behind it. A rare drop from them is this:
Basically, a gas mask with plague containers on the back.
My boyfriend got it, I'm still trying to get it. It is so amazingly awesome looking. |

I never put hope into the rarest drop. I have the brewfest ram on my druid, but that isn't a 1%, more like 5%. Maybe I'm jaded because I lost the horseman mount to a shadow priest that did 200 DPS and quit not even a month after.
Still want the gas mask. Haven't seen it drop. If I get the rose I plan to tinker it with the engineer's mind amplification dish. What is a more fitting helmet for mind control than a rose between your teeth? Har. |

WoW is for noobs. Go back to tram.
There will be better valentines gifts in UO anyway, like rehued things from the past and pink cards. Those are cool right? |

Just because I enjoy WoW doesn't mean I can't enjoy UO, that's a common misconception. Both games are fundamentally different, and both provide things that I enjoy. The WoW gifts are awesome looking, but the UO gifts you can actually interact with people with. The simple act of double clicking a card on another player to put their name on it, and then giving it to them or locking it down in your house? A unique UO thing. There's a reason why I play both :) |

I see what you mean Kael. Now I know that it is possible to like two games at the same time. Even if one is maaad noobs. |

I took a class in peer to peer relations.
I was taught that violence was not the answer.
I got it wrong on purpose. _________________
