Yes.

Perhaps it is simply due to large amount of horrific happenings every day, or the fact that there are simply too many people in the world, and the rate at which humans are dieing does not even begin to come close to the population problem, or the swollen birth rate.

But, yes, I can find something as non consensual pedal manipulation as a possible source of humor. As a whole humans place far too much value into their own existence.

I personally saw it for more shock value than amusement. But hey that's just me. It amazes me what people will do for what others think is beautiful.
