Hey guys,
I apologize for my absence as of late and I very much follow the "RL first" philosophy, but I wanted to give you all a heads up.

Ok where to begin, many of you know I was recently divorced in April and I have been trying my damnest to get a grasp of this "single" life again. I worked very hard repairing my credit, picking up OT at work, getting my three kids ready for school, and trying to get a house all while the condo I am living in was on the market. So add to the stress occasional showings here and there.

Well in Aug, the condo finally sold. I was thrown into utter panic as my ex's re-fi is still not complete and the house I want to buy has my cousin in it. She is in the process of buying a house, is a first time buyer, and is forced through all these hoops (she told me last week she just submitted her paperwork for the EIGHTH time). So essentially I was looking at being homeless and forced to move in with my parents. This of course has changed, I was able to sign a purchase agreement for the house, was pre-approved (pulled my credit WAAAAAAAAY up in five months), and now in the process of packing what I can, waiting on the buyers of the condo to get the place appraised and finalized. The banker is working very to push my ex's loan through as fast as possible and has started my paperwork. Needless to say, it's killed my computer time.

So I haven't disappeared, just on hiatus for a bit. Keep me in your thoughts and I hope to be in my house by October. I miss you all and hope to cause much chaos in your lives very soon.

Sincerely,
Tina

Sounds busy but congrats on everything. We still need to have that divorce party for you. Awesome about your credit- can you work on mine now?

*hugs*

At least this means when all is settled you will have more quality less stressed time to play!

Take care!

Hey guys! Just an update for you all. I officially moved out of the condo sept 30, which would not have been possible without the help of Nalimar. He came for a visit during my vacation from work. Anyways, my loan is progressing well. It is currently at the underwriters. I have temporarily moved in with my parents and my computer is currently in pieces in their garage. I will have access to Dad's computer but he teaches a class via webcam so that limits my time. I hope to hook up to his router so that I can finally get some relaxing game time. Miss ya all and I hope to get in my house soon. I hate chaos when I am not the cause of it.
Take care and you can all leave me messages on ICQ. And thanks to everyone that wished me a happy birthday, it was a nice surprise.

Sincerely,
Tina

Appears to me that you are certainly doing all the right things for yourself and family ..... not always an easy thing to do after divorce..

Hang in there.. you've almost made it!!

Congratulations.
