Dearest Molly,

On behalf of Queen Isilmea Locke, I write to inform you that your husband, Martin Willow, is now being taken care of at our palace due to a rare disease.

It appears Martin may have consumed some sort of poisonous liquid that renders him immobile and incapable of intelligible speech. However, we elves have acted fast to find a remedy of sorts that can actually slow the process of the poison until we come across the real cure. We feed him most everyday. He says he enjoys our soup, but that may be the illness talking. Please be assured though that your husband -is- in good hands.

We hope to hear from you in the near future.

Namaarie,
Veryo Soron

Suilad Veryo,

The same affliction has befallen Molly, as well as several other residents of Gauntlet Isle. In her stead do I recieve this missive. We believe our water supply to be tainted with this poison. In the few words Molly could speak, she sounded comforted in knowing Martin was in the hands of such compassionate and virtuous a group as Asur'Herenion.
The only lead we have on some sort of cure is a plant that is rumoured to stem the flow of the poison, however I do not know more for know.
Please, take good care of Martin, as we know you will.
Humbly yours,
Lady Tempest, House of the Gauntlet
