Jeren sat considering the future of Jhelom in the towns Library which since the Declaration of the new Republic has become the Council Hall. Many issues have been collected and Jeren sends a posted parchment for the citizens across Jhelom and sends sealed letters to all shop owners and Council Members.
Citizens of the Republic of Jhelom,
The Council that has been appointed and stand along side many of you in everyday life is a success due to your dedication to a better future. Many changes have taken place and many more will follow to allign ourselves with the best of intentions for the future of our great Republic. It is important to never forget how we arrived here on this very day. No matter your views of the efforts or lack of efforts put forth by your fellow neighbors we have all contributed to a new beginning. The challenges we face will be many. The Charter Declaration placed our governing body as a neutral city-state. With that said, the Council remains heavily engaged completing the final touches of our new laws and policies. I, your Chief Magistrate, have written countless letters awaiting the Council's approval to be released to other organizations and governments that this Republic feels will benefit both interests. It should also be shared that I recently spoke with Lord Kain Elderan, who is an Oracle in the "Heralds of the Awakening", and asked if he could find a way to schedule teachings of the virtues in Jhelom.
I have also been extremely busy appointing important positions to keep this Republic safe from outside influence from crime and war. I am proud to announce that Dayn Elderan is now the Sheriff of Jhelom. His experience in such matters will allow a freedom this city-state has never witnessed. Understand that as a group of citizens, with the same interests, I will soon open my door to others with skills that will further benefit this Republic. I ask you to spread the word, have patience in this process, and know your appointed Council is working to carry out your needs.
In closing, I ask all of you to continue filling my desk and if must my floor to reach out and provide the future we can all succeed; what we all deserve. I encourage you to reach deep down and remember as a Republic we find a unity Sosaria has forgotten long ago.
Respectfully,
Sir Jeren Yendorin
Chief Magistrate
Republic Of Jhelom - RoJ -
