Alaundril's foot was propped up on the large hardwood table that he had sat here. It was covered in papers detailing the reports that Mr. Stark had compiled and was working on until his untimely death. It was a wonder that the assassin ever made sense of anything he was told by the informants as most of these missives were scattered over the entire desk. The old drow yawned. The means that humans used to carry information around were so quaint. Alaundril would have to change some of these things here soon. His red gaze looked to the window, he could hear the quiet "tink tink" of legs skittering towards him.
He looked up from his work to see a small jade spider carrying a message from a certain Matron Mother.
"Well well...she needs my help already." With a mischievous grin he took the small scroll and read the message, slowly a smile spread across his lips. Alaundril set the message aside and began writing a reply.
Matron,
I will be at your chambers this evening to discuss this matter.
-The Boss-
Alaundril sealed the scroll with the standard Crimson S of his organization and gave it to the spider to carry it hastily to Matron Viaxus. and continued digging through his pile of reports and dispatches... |
