Slitherby wandered, shivering at the sites he saw. He had his letter and duty, and kept moving forward. However, at times, in spite of his courage, a small rattle could be heard on his journey. He finally reached his destination, and waited with baited breath, his fur raised and the rattle getting louder.

M'lord Barl,
I have a huge request. I'm wanting to investigate something in Wind and am unable to enter it. I don't want to put the information in a letter, due to the nature, but I had heard you'd be extremely interested in this information too.

Barl walked with an aura about him that defined cold; not in temperature, but in the dullness of red eyes that travelled the caves of the underground...in the dullness of his voice that echoed off the walls.

If there was any emotion that made any sort of change to this usual coldness of the lich, it was hatred. The oddity of this creature inspired hatred in barl, and so his message to the creature was rather to the point.
