Drayden found it rather easy to write this letter to Matriach Ceinwyn of Umbra. The two had shared drinks and talks many times in the past. In fact, it saddened the Drow that he could not personally deliver this message, but unfortunately he had been tasked with the newest operation for his outfit so he figured that a letter would suffice:

Dearest Ceinwyn,
I hope this letter finds you well. My apologies for my absence lately, normally I find myself in Umbra at some point any given night, it just seems that you're never around when I happen through. The purpose of this letter however, is not to talk about what I haven't done, but to talk to you about some projects that I am working on right now. I don't necessarily need assistance, but I have found that you often give me some good advice. Please contact me as soon as you can so we can arrange a meeting. Do I need to remind you that this should stay between us? I hope to hear from you soon Matriarch.

Yours in Chaos,
Calamyr

The Drow sealed the letter with the standard crimson "S" insignia and quickly teleported himself to Umbra, where he left the letter with the bartender at the Den.

The response was also left with the bartender, as the Matriarch had no forwarding address.

"Give this to him when he returns." Were the instructions Lazarus, the lazy barkeep, was given. With his attitude lately, he knew he had best not disappoint. So with sharper than usual eyes, he kept a watch for that particular drow's return.

The letter, once returned to Drayden, would read:

Vendui Drayden,

I find your capers interesting, and look forward to hearing of your latest exploits. I am actually available most evenings, if one knows where to look. Send me notice around 10pm this evening and I shall hasten to meet with you.

In Darkness,

Ceinwyn
