Is that in-game? If so, where is it?

Ahhh! Zento! My one, true weakness!

I'll have to update it and visit the Fortress of Knowledge. It looks great though. Great job!

So is this building IC or OOC? Yes, I know, I know.. crazy of me to ask, perhaps. But, it just occurred to me how many people from the RP community will go there and "learn". I am wondering if there is anything in there that will inadvertently help a newb metagame any of us, and if so, can we get some kind of message or warning up for newbies to help prevent it.

For example:

Newb, "I studied at the scholomance for a long time."

old OES vet, "No, you didn't."

Newb, "Yes, I did! It was open to the public. I learned many dark rituals and ways to kill your kind. I know all your secrets."

old OES vet, *face palm*

Yeah, she brings up a point.

It is always a pain in the @$$ whenever some stranger comes up to you and claims he knows how to kill someone or suddenly knows you inside and out because of one event or another.

I would hope though that if any nooblet were to actually find his building, he should know enough about Roleplay, and no-no's like Godmoding and Metagaming. If it were indeed an OOC library, full of the history of ARPC or whatnot, then I would almost see it as more of a reference library so that if someone would find an event or a particular person that they found interesting, that could lead them in their direction rather than have them waltz around with their presumptions.

So what is it?

The Library was built ICly through the collective efforts of Adrien and Beowolf. Any books that were of such a nature as mentioned above are not public. Also, all the books come from Actual IC Libraries, most notably the OES scholomance.

so...IC like...what we read there is good to use? recently we (the Blue Lotus) did some reading at the TGC and CAP guild houses and "learned" allot about them...including how to kill a vamp. is this knowledge we could use IC? and would it be the same for this library?

I think as far as the vampire books goes, I'd talk to the gm of the guild personally. Some folks treat their houses as being somewhat secure ooc, but leave them public for convenience sake of visitors.
