If you play one of the forementioned or think of it; and want to base the character off of the White Wolf concept but don't wish to purchase said book nor know of an online reference - send me a Q. |

After OES broke up I started basing Aras off of W:tO.
Very underrated, it had some good concepts in there. And we need more of my kind! > _________________ [img]http://askcorran.com/lonegamer/abomsig.PNG[/img] |

Wraith The Oblivion (WtO) is a good concept to start; for a more updated version I recremend Orpheus Don't Look Back [WtO 3rd Edition revised under new title for Time of Judgement series] - Better statistics, more realistic maneuverability, and powers that make much more sense for a spirit.
Yes I have these books too they just aren't on my list yet. |

Just remember when role-playing race specific powers to try to only use them in scripted situation if it's something like mind-reading or domination!
Always a good policy! |

To True - though I'm not supplying rules and legallity - thats up to the GM's of the Vampire guilds and how they wish to do the rp; I'm just giving material that I have available that could be useful and/or make some good rp. |

I know that it's not included but really good Drow research (in MY opinion) would be the "War of the Spider Queen" series. It's only 6 books but it shows the darker side of the Drow from the Drizzt books and shows how even their Goddess keeps them on their toes. *winks* Not gonna give away too much information.
PLUS....if you read it, you MAY pick up some hints of Kal'iksix's personality. |

Alot of my character drizzts personality comes from a character from the war of the spider queen books as well. It is an amazing series for reader who like the drow storys. This is probably why me and kal butt heads so much!!! |

A long time ago I used to play a game called, Vampire the Masqurade (sic). There was a clan in that game called the Cappadocians, as well as several others Gangrel (which were almost Lycanish), Troubadour, as well as several others. I wondered if that was the game the CAPS used as a reference. Cool game, because it could be set during any time period and any land. I ofter used the US places and used real maps. The is even a town in NC called Transalvania.
Regarding drow lore, I too have based both my drow chars off the Wars of the Spider Queen series. Org is based on Gromph Baenre, Zararra is based off of Aunrae Nasad. |

Vampire the Masq. is World of Darkness, they went through four editions of the game originally. The first edition was simply called Jyhad [which was infact a card game] Then they made it into a book RPG. (Not including N.Wod Vampire the Requiem which just ruined the system.)
I think the clan you mention as Troubadour is actually infact Toreador.
Gangrel; true kinda lycan-ish but White Wolf/World of Darkness brought out WtA [Werewolf the Apocolypse] for the Werewolf/Shapeshifter lovers. |
