Years ago I was in the midst of exploring the Atlantic role-play opportunities, as the rebellious upstart "Torchlight", or Gracen, when I became sick with a burst appendix. Some of you may remember me. I wrote a few posts on making RP open and available to a wide range of people, and I challenged the Regency openly in game, much to the delight of some, and the ire of others. That was all on my old account name here RevoltofLight, which I've lost the password for.

I now find myself drawn back to Atlantic. I've been meaning to come back for a long time, but only now have a real opportunity to enjoy it again. From what I've been able to gather, the state of storytelling (or storyplaying) on Atlantic looks pretty good lately. I've changed my mind and decided to get involved again.

I believe in jumping in head first. I could have been accused of such the first time around. My ICQ number, 463688811, is open to anyone who wants to chat. I'd love to get a handle on what's going on.

I always did what I wanted to do because that's what I wanted to do Wink Some people might have found it advantageous to join in because they wanted to get "back" at people they felt wronged them. (I on the otherhand relished the idea of RPing a revolutionary, a role I'd not ever seen a possibility of playing - I had no personal investment in the RP community, and as such had no reason to be vindictive) This is my way of saying I in no way endorse nor have bad things to say about Ms. Case. I guess it may have been seen that we planned all of that revolt stuff together, but honestly, it was all me. Well, me and, to a much lesser degree, Jodeci, who I don't think plays anymore. Jodeci would be the "Beloved" in my letter in the messenger section.


My desire to bring more and more people into RP (from light to hardcore... can you believe we call RP hardcore?) stands, as it did back then. However, sometimes people don't seem to click - to form a congenial relationship based on mutual admiration and the desire to share their favorite hobby. In those cases, I understand not wanting them around. I accept the fact that people may have felt this way about me at the time, but considering my intent wasn't vindictiveness - I always stated before - you can't RP being the leaders of the realm on a public server in full god-mode style and not expect to be challenged - I don't think such a sentiment would be fair.

And Vaen, I remember you from before. Hopefully I can return the favor.
