My Lord Ronin, I wish to point out the following...

I.

The Britannian-Protectorate has not now, nor ever enacted any anti-vampire laws or legislation. That is...vampires are not "illegal".

II.

Citizens of your realm, including Vampires are allowed free passage in Britain without exception, while they are asked as a "rule of the house" if you will to refrain from the open drinking of blood and any violence associated with such.

III.

Open Trade is not only allowed but encouraged by The Protectorate will all nations, your own included.

That being said, I wish to ask you the following questions:

I.

Do you realize that your grounds for an epic war over my Britain are entirely unfounded and outright false?

II.

Do you realize that I, not Isk, decree what is law in Britain?

III.

Do you realize that by seeking to gain "vampire rights" by acts of extreme violence your actually ruining your own cause and leading to a greater vampire prejudice?

IV.

Do you realize it is really not "discrimination" for me to ban the killing and draining of my citizens by Vampires?

V.

Do you realize that The Kingdom of Sanctus is an ally of the Protectorate and not a loyalist state so the Governor-Regent has no power to order, demand or force anything upon them?

VII.

Do you realize that you have no actual grounds for your current obsession with Britain?

Adrien,

I received your letter. You seem to have taken a great deal of time in writing it. You also seem to have gathered your points and organized them into a well thought-out format. I commend you on that, as we of the "lesser race" (or vampires) tend to get easily distracted.

I do wish, however, to remind you that you are no longer the Regent of the Protectorate, and by rule of the Cappadocians, I should not be speaking directly to you on matters of state; however I feel a couple of your points merit a direct response.

The Britannian-Protectorate has not now, nor ever enacted any anti-vampire laws or legislation. That is...vampires are not "illegal."

Yet the Protectorate meet twice each month at the Castle of Britain and spend the majority of there meeting speaking of their plans to destroy the “Vampires” and, we have been openly attacked by the Protectorate at the Castle of Britain on more than one occasion, and in Minoc for merely being “Vampires.”

Do you realize that by seeking to gain "vampire rights" by acts of extreme violence you’re actually ruining your own cause and leading to a greater vampire prejudice?

Do you expect us to stand by while acts of extreme violence are perpetrated on the Cappadocians? I do not feel martyrdom is a viable means to achieve “vampire rights.”

III

Do you realize it is really not "discrimination" for me to ban the killing and draining of my citizens by Vampires?

Do you realize that it is unlawful for a Cappadocian to take the blood of any mortal other than Criminals, Murderers and “Blood Dolls” or willing participants and any who break this law will be brought up on charges by the Cappadocian Magistrate?

Do you realize that you have no actual grounds for your current obsession with Britain?

Do you realize the Protectorate had no claim on Britain because it was the old Regency’s? And also it is rightfully Lord British's, whom you really do not represent by any means.


Should you have any further questions, I welcome them. Please follow the proper protocol and first present them to your superior, Regent Isk, who hopefully will find time in his busy schedule to bring such questions to me.
