Vaen looked up at Marcus, then down at the kryss pointing down to his chest, barely able to breathe with Marcus's foot on his neck.

"Last words, Vaen?" Marcus chuckled.

Vaen mumbled something.

"What was that?" Marcus looked down at him.

Vaen mumbled again.

"Speak up!"

Vaen mumbled once more.

Marcus removed his foot from Vaen's neck and looked down at him. "Speak up, fool!"

Vaen turned to his side and quickly lunged at Marcus's legs, tackling him and throwing him to the ground. Vaen climbed ontop of Marcus and began repeatedly punching him in the face, screaming down at him as he punches.

Vaen raised his fist high, then looked down at Marcus. Marcus looked up at Vaen, his bone helmet cracked open from the impact from the punches. Vaen grumbled and got up, and began to walk away.

Marcus slowly got up, and just watched as Vaen walked away. "Can't do it, can you?"

Vaen stopped and looked down.

"You'll never be able to pull yourself to kill me, Vaen. Face it."

Vaen closed his eyes and turned around, then looked up to Marcus.

"Your day will come Marcus." Vaen then turned back around and walked out of Marcus's sight. Vaen climbed down the mountain, and began his walk back home to his friends and family. The day will come when him and Marcus will have to face eachother, and where only one of them will leave the battlefield alive. Vaen's only hope was that if that day comes, he was able to kill Marcus once more. Otherwise, he knew that he would not be the one to leave the field with his life.
